Hi,
Today I am going to tell you something interesting about Christmas. Christmas is an event based on the birth of Jesus Christ. On this day all Christians go to church for the Midnight Mass and then we finally celebrate New year. On the second day of Christmas we go to our relatives house. We usually exchange gifts and enjoy a grand feast.

"Eid-ul-Adha" or "Greater Eid" is celebrated all over the world by Muslims. They Celebrate it in the remembrance of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) who dared to sacrifice is son Hazrat Ismail (A.S) on the order of Allah, but god intervened to provide him a ram instead.
Muslims sacrifice goats, cows and rams on this Eid. This Eid is celebrated in the month of Zil-hajj after people offer Hajj. The meat is divided into three parts, for poor and needy people, for relatives and friends and one third is kept by the family.

Eid-ul-Azha
Just like Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Adha also begins with a small prayer. Soon after the prayer we sacrifice and divide the meat into three parts. First part is for the poor people, second is given to our relatives and third part we usually keep for ourselves.
In the end I would like to say Eid Mubarak to all my friends.

I am Faalih Akhter from class V-I and today I want to share my feelings about Eid-ul-Adha. Eid-ul-Adha is an important Muslim event in which we sacrifice goats, cow, camel or sheep to remember the sacrifice made by Hazrat Ibrahim.
The word Eid means "feast" and animal sacrifice is an important part of this feast. The sacrifice of generally sheep or goats is shared with family, friends and the needy. People wear new clothes and share meals together. They also will visit the family members and friends.
In the end I would like to say Eid Mubarak to you all!
